Lima Uddin (participant rep)
Board Member
Lima is a participant representative on the Drum Works Board. She joined Drum Works at St Paul’s Way Trust school in 2012, at the age of 13. She soon progressed into Training Band, which back then was based at the Barbican and now takes place in Stratford. Lima was also a member of the Youth Board in 2017, while enrolled at Epping Forest college where she studied Performing Arts. She then moved into university which meant taking a break from Drum Works for a short while. After leaving South Bank University, where she studied Drama and Performance, Lima came to a realisation that she wanted to re-join Drum Works in order to fulfil her musical talents and be able to work alongside other talented musicians who all share the same enthusiasm for drumming as she does.
In 2020 Lima learned where her passion truly lied and began a career in healthcare, becoming a dental nurse and gaining a National Diploma in Dental Nursing through the National Examining Board For Dental Nurses. She studied at the North London Dental Centre. Alongside her new career, Lima is a part of the Stratford Drum Club band for adults, loves to take part in various gigs and occasionally attends Training Band.
