Laure joined the Drum Works team as a Project Manager in 2018.

Her background is in events management and she has a genuine interest in the arts and music. Previous roles include Event & Venue Manager at The Vinyl Factory for 3 years during which she had the unique opportunity to collaborate with prominent artists and arts institutions such as Hayward Gallery, Serpentine Gallery, Frieze, Soho Theatre, and the ICA. Laure also took on various freelance projects working for well-established organisations including Art Night and Bompas & Parr.

A lot of interesting experiences, certainly, but Laure had long for bringing the social element into her job. She is passionate about bringing people of all backgrounds together and build positive relationships with everyone that she encounters on her path.

Laure loves the West African culture and more specifically traditional dancing and rhythms. She is lucky enough to have found a welcoming community whose passion is to share the knowledge from their village ancestors. Part of this community are Dembis Thioung, Diene Sagna and Aida Diop to name just a few.

Laure also practices yoga and tai chi. Despite being an energetic human being, she realised that bringing stillness into her day-to-day has tremendous positive effects on her well-being.
