Jenny started working on Drum Works in 2011 as part of her previous role at the Barbican Centre, when the project was still part of the Barbican Guildhall Creative Learning programme. In 2013-14 Jenny completed the Guildhall School and Cause4‘s Creative Entrepreneurs programme, winning the Amati Guildhall Creative Entrepreneurs Award at the end of the year. Over the following two years, Jenny led on the process of spinning Drum Works out of the Barbican, finally establishing it as an independent Community Interest Company and the Barbican’s first ever spin-out organisation in 2016.

Prior to this, Jenny was member of the Barbican’s Creative Learning team where she worked across music and film projects with local and international partners including the LA Phil, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and the BFI. Before joining Creative Learning, she previously held project management and fundraising roles at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, the London Symphony Orchestra and City of London Sinfonia. She has a music degree from King’s College London.
