Daniel Chery
Board Member
Daniel has over 27 years of experience in youth work and management. His experience ranges from local authority, further education, enrichment, targeted youth work, working with those looked after and in care (LAC), those at risk of exclusion, crime prevention, and youth offending. He also works with SEND young people and those with emerging and mild to moderate mental health needs. In short a lot of youth work.
Daniel is ambitious and aspirational, he is currently a Young People’s Services Manager working with Lifeline Community projects. Daniel also has a freelance consultancy specialising in curriculum development, non-managerial coaching, and clinical supervision. He supports aspiring professionals, to be all they can, to set and attain both personal and professional goals.
Daniel is an active and driven person, who in his spare time cycles, goes to the gym, and also works as a semi-professional DJ. Daniel has a hidden disability affecting his vision, which he believes helps him to be better equipped and more understanding of equality.
