Whether you’re an experienced musician or a complete beginner, our Barking drumming ensemble is an opportunity to learn new skills and make some music in a friendly, supportive environment.

Weekly sessions include working on drumming technique, learning some of the project’s core rhythms and writing new material. There will be performance opportunities at various events around London, and the chance to join our other ensembles at Walthamstow Garden Party in July for an impressive 200+ strong performance!

The ensemble meets on Monday evenings, 7.15-8.45pm, at The Broadway, Barking IG11 7LS. It is open to anyone over 18 regardless of musical experience.

Autumn Term 2019
Block 1: 23 September – 28 October 2019
Block 2: 4 November – 9 December 2019

Spring Term 2020
Block 3: 6 January – 10 February 2020
Block 4: 17 February – 23 March 2020**

Summer Term 2020
Block 5: Mon 20 Apr – Mon 1 Jun 2020 (no session on bank holiday Mon 25 May)
Block 6: Mon 8 Jun – Mon 13 Jul 2020

**Given the current escalating situation with regards to Coronavirus, we’ve cancelled the 23rd March session.

Price

£50 per block of six sessions
You can pay per block or spread the cost across the year by paying monthly instalments of £25.

£12 per individual session
If you’re not able to commit to a full block of sessions you can pay as you go.
