Caroline joined Aurora Orchestra in May 2016 as Director of Development & Strategic Planning, overseeing the orchestra’s fundraising activity and helping to shape artistic, educational and business planning for the coming years. She began her career as a lawyer, practising for ten years at a major international law firm before taking on roles as a project and business change manager. Having always wanted to work in the arts, she made the move in 2009, working for six years at the Barbican Centre in their Development team. Caroline is an avid fan of contemporary music and arts, and plays (very amateur) clarinet with contemporary music ensemble CoMA. She has a passionate belief in music education and that everyone should have the chance to enjoy music and the arts.
