Whether you’re an experienced musician or a complete beginner, Drum Club is an opportunity to learn new skills and make some music in a friendly, supportive environment.
Led by Drum Works Leaders and Tutors, weekly sessions include working on drumming technique, learning some of the project’s core rhythms and writing new material. The band made its debut performance at Barking Town Square Street Party in July 2015, and join in with the school ensembles for our en-masse performances at summer festivals.
Drum Club meets at the Barbican on Tuesday evenings, 6.30-8.15pm, and is open to anyone over 18 regardless of musical experience.
